We're looking for new team members! Check below to see which role is the right one for you.

Currently available positions:

Food Service Technician

Compensation: $17.50 - $18.00/HR

Part time position

Mon - Fri

  • Assist Cook and/or Assistant Cook in cleaning and panning fresh food and packaging cooked food.

  • Wash, sanitize and store pots and pans.

  • Assist in order and cleanliness of food storage.

  • Assist in food preperation.

  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, dining room and storage rooms.

  • Package cold items to go out with daily means (bread, milk, juice, etc.)

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Good physical health with the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

  • Must speak, read and write English.

  • Ability to follow job guidelines, safety and security procedures.

Driver/Deliverer

  • Deliver meals to homebound clients (Meals on Wheels program)

  • Able to navigate to assigned destinations

  • Ensure all meals are delivered accurately and in a timely manner

  • Record meal units using NYC Aging software

  • Clean vehicle and arrange routine maintenance or repair

  • Monitor and report unsafe or hazardous vehicle conditions

  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Compensation: $17.50 - $18.00/HR

Part time position

Mon - Fri

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a valid NYS Driver License with no more than 3 points and no DWI violations.

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Good customer service skills particularly with high-risk population.

  • Ability to follow job guidelines, safety and security procedures.

  • Must speak, read, and write English.
